Inspiring Bloodline

Chantel Santana Keppie Coming from a family of well-known fashion designers, Chantel has been exposed to creative thinking all her life. Fuelled by her passion for the creative process, she ensures that Santana Graphix operates at a level where perspiration is the benchmark and inspiration is the mould.

It was Santana’s maternal grandmother who inspired her to work hard and stay true to her creative dream. Well-known as ‘Madam Lisica’, Santana’s grandmother had an astonishing talent as a dress designer. Says Santana, “I was very close to my grandmother. She encouraged me to keep on creating and stay within the field of design, even though fashion wasn’t my forte.”

Santana Graphix is a company built on Chantel’s passion for Graphic design and the incredible effect it has when used correctly, Says Santana, “I love meeting a new client and getting behind their vision, passion and drive for their company. My work gives me the ability to give there company a face to the public that just by an image shows the public who they are. Their passion, expertise and what that product can do for the public. My dream is to make a difference by changing the face of design in South Africa. Time to Grow and bring change – New Blood – The Future

Now being 2021, a lot has happened since I started 14 years ago. Now a Wife and Mom of 3 Beautiful children, My perspective has grown. I have a new vision for the future. I love designing and being a integral part of helping my clients dream and “Baby” become a reality. I want to model to my children that Life, especially business should never be 1 dimensional or self-focussed. But rather outwardly focused and about the journey and how many people you can train up, lift up and bring them with you to the Victory line. I know that life is not fair. It’s just a fact. Having your own business gives you power to make a difference and bring about change. The best tool you have as an entrepreneur is how to raise other entrepreneurs. To Share Knowledge. To empower others so they pay it forward. In 2014 I met a very special women that through the years we became a strong support system to each other and provided a level of friendship, support, encouragement and accountability to one another.
2019-2020 was a difficult year with the impacts of Covid and Loosing close family and friend’s to Cancer. It just started to make more and more sense that now more than ever was the time to make a change. To take Santana Graphix in a new direction. To start a new Legacy that my children could watch unfold and hopefully be inspired to use Business as a tool to make a difference and give Resources and Power to the people who need it. To understand the true meaning of pulling together as a team, rallying up the troops and going onward and upwards together. To Greener pastures to Prosper together. As Mom’s to give our children a future to look forward to.

I’m Thando Vanqua, The newest addition to Santana Graphix, a single mother to a beautiful boy, Disa. I work as a preschool assistant teacher in Fourways. I work hard for my family and have always had a passion to grow and continue to make my life better for myself and my boy. Coming from a rural area I have not had many opportunities to grow, I make do my best to make the most of every chance sent my way.

I met Chantel When I worked at a school her child was attending. We immediately realized we had the same entrepreneurial mindset. We continued to have a close relationship for years. Having the opportunity to work together with her is a great opportunity and I look forward to the partnership.
I look forward to being an asset to Chantel and to Santana Graphix and learning everything about this exciting new world of marketing and Design. I am so excited and love learning and growing. I plan to grow Santana Graphix and in doing so, to give myself and Disa, a brand new life and chapter that I can show my son, the best is yet to come.
